Blanco Nieva Verdejo
Most Spanish Verdejo comes from the white wine region of Rueda, about halfway between Ribera del Duero to the northeast and Toro to the west. Although it is unusual in Spain, Verdejo wines are named after the grape Verdejo rather than the place (Rueda) where they are grown. The wines are medium-bodied, bone dry, minerally, citrusy, and a little 'green' rather like Sauvignon Blanc.
